Teach posing as a trainable skill

• Teach the skill, not only the position. Design practice that develops control, transitions and repeatable performance over time.
• Give feedback the athlete can use. Choose cues, timing and feedback frequency that help the athlete learn instead of becoming dependent on the coach.
• Individualize the presentation. Adapt positions and transitions to the athlete’s structure, division and presentation demands.
• Prepare performance under pressure. Build confidence, posing stamina and transfer from the practice room to the stage.
